Ikeya Named Managing Director of Hexagon MI Japan

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division in Japan (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2025, the following group companies have merged, with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence K.K. (formerly Vero Software K.K., hereinafter “Hexagon MI”) as the surviving entity:

  • DP Technology Japan K.K.

  • Volume Graphics K.K.

  • Hexagon Metrology K.K.

  • Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence K.K.

 

This merger aims to unify and streamline Hexagon’s operations in Japan, integrating the advanced technologies and specialized expertise of each company. By consolidating business functions, Hexagon will deliver more comprehensive and efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers across industries.

 

In conjunction with this consolidation, Nozomu Ikeya has been appointed Managing Director of Hexagon MI in Japan, succeeding Masaki Konno. Ikeya will lead the company’s operations with a focus on growth, customer success, and team collaboration. Masaki Konno (Vice President, Sales D&E of Japan, APAC & Korea) will continue to serve as Representative Director of MSC. Software Ltd and Director of Software Cradle Co., Ltd., overseeing Hexagon’s CAE software business in the APAC region, including Japan and South Korea.

 

With over 35 years of leadership experience across Japan, the U.S., and Asia, Nozomu Ikeya brings deep expertise in the B2B technology sector. He has held senior roles with responsibility for sales, marketing, service operations, and full P&L ownership. He is recognized for driving transformation and delivering sustainable business growth.
