The Absolute Arm is a master of productivity improvement. From the elimination of warmup and encoder referencing to swapping between probes and scanners with no need for recalibration, this is a portable measuring arm that allows the user to just get on with measurement.

With the full-speed, full-accuracy measurement delivered by the Absolute Scanner AS1 and its wide scan line – 150 millimetres wide at mid-range – 3D scanning and digitisation is fast and comes with no need to downgrade your expectations. Using the advanced algorithms of our SHINE technology, the AS1 delivers full performance at all times on all materials – full accuracy, full frame rate and full laser scan width for full measurement productivity.

And with the ability to share the AS1 with an Absolute Tracker system, efficiency is only further improved. You can measure a complete volume with the same scanner using the benefits of both the Absolute Arm and the Absolute Tracker together to reduce measurement process times – high-speed handheld measurement throughout the volume with the tracker system, and hidden and hard to reach areas with the arm system, all captured within the same measurement session and aligned within the same coordinate system to produce a complete point cloud in the most efficient way possible.

Productivity is only further enhanced with the introduction of the Absolute Scanner AS1-XL, a blue laser 3D scanner with an extra-wide scan line and large standoff, allowing for extremely high-speed laser scanning of large surfaces, deep cavities, and other hidden areas. Full integration with leading metrology software packages is of course a given, and this extends to the new on-wrist display screen, that allows the user to select settings and profiles at the point of measurement. This comes alongside other user feedback cues, haptic, visual and acoustic, that keep the user fully aware and in control of the measurement process with no need to keep returning to the computer screen – you can just keep measuring and make your work time more productive than ever before.
