MAESTRO hardware

Built for speed, stability, and smart integration
MAESTRO combines advanced sensor technologies with an all-digital, intelligent machine design to deliver outstanding throughput and flexibility. From its ultra-stable frame and embedded control systems to automated sensor handling and intuitive operator feedback, every hardware component plays a role in accelerating measurement without compromising precision.
Digital probes and sensors
The fully digital sensor ecosystem behind MAESTRO. MAESTRO’s performance is built on precision — and that starts with its digitally native sensors. Designed for flexibility, accuracy, and seamless integration, these sensors enable fast tactile probing, advanced scanning, and non-contact surface capture — all without compromising ease of use or system intelligence. Every sensor is exchangable via the digital changer rack, seamlessly integrated with MAESTRO’s digital twin, and ready for your application.
Integrated platform hardware
Physical platform components that underpin MAESTRO’s measurement performance. They support high-speed operation, accurate sensor movement, and real-time operator feedback. Each feature is designed to make the CMM system smarter, more stable, and easier to operate.
Stability meets scalability
MAESTRO is available in multiple frame sizes — all designed with a granite base and precision bridge architecture for maximum stiffness and accuracy. Whether inspecting small components or large assemblies, MAESTRO maintains thermal mechanical stability, even at high acceleration and throughput.
Available sizes:
- 5.7.5 (X: 500 mm, Y: 700 mm, Z: 500 mm)
- 7.10.7 (X: 700 mm, Y: 1000 mm, Z: 700 mm)
- 9.YY.8 (X: 900 mm, Y: 1200/1500/2000 mm, Z: 800 mm)

Automated sensor switching, fully digital and collision-aware
MAESTRO’s digital changer rack allows fully automated sensor and styli swaps during measurement cycles – no recalibration needed. It features modular, stackable layers in multiple widths, supporting a wide range of sensor and styli configurations.
Fully integrated with MAESTRO’s digital twin, the rack continuously monitors the occupancy status of each port, optimising change routines and significantly reducing the risk of collision or misalignment. Easy to install, expand, and calibrate, it delivers the flexibility modern production demands.

Instant machine feedback, clear operator guidance
Integrated LED status lights and a full-colour display on the Z-tower provide live machine feedback — from operating mode and system status to actionable warnings and prompts. Operators can quickly see and respond to what the machine needs, keeping workflows moving efficiently.

Real-time visibility, remote diagnostics
An embedded camera system allows operators and support teams to monitor MAESTRO remotely. Ideal for diagnostics, training, and downtime analysis, SME ensures transparency and control — with a manual blind for full privacy.

Smaller footprint, faster setup
MAESTRO includes a compact, built-in controller housed directly within the machine frame — reducing floor space requirements and eliminating the need for a separate control cabinet. This also simplifies cabling and streamlines initial setup and installation.

Smart, scalable sensor integration
Located on the Z-axis, the sensor interface enables fast, secure sensor connections with integrated status LEDs and modular cabling. Designed to support both current and future sensor technologies, it allows fast upgrades and simplified maintenance over the system’s lifetime.
