Recognising success and learning from failures
“I get to learn every day by testing new things in an environment where people are encouraged to express their viewpoints and ideas.”
Marie-Caroline Rondeau, director of business development for Hexagon’s Geosystems division began her journey with the company more than 10 years ago as a marketing assistant with a dream to make a lasting impact. During this time, she learned about the depth and importance of being a manager and eventually took on the role of marketing manager for Leica Geosystems' South European region, supporting marketing digital transformation efforts and developing new tactics to leverage Hexagon’s solutions and customers. Most recently, Rondeau joined a global accounts initiative that is leading the building solutions team.
“I’ve always felt inspired and creative working at Hexagon because here I feel we have unlimited potential in ways that we can contribute to the growth of our organisation through customers and employee development,” says Rondeau. “I have also had the chance to collaborate with incredible colleagues around the globe, sharing common values.”
In addition, Rondeau mentioned that one key component that makes her passionate about her role is the excitement surrounding working for a global technology company and an organisation always driven by change.
Having the desire to learn every day is a vital piece of the Hexagon culture as team members are encouraged to test new things in an environment where colleagues can express their viewpoints and creative ideas.
“Hexagon is an incredible organisation that provides an environment that changes continually but also embraces the shifts that take place in the markets we serve,” says Rondeau. “Innovation is at the very heart of our global culture – from R&D programs that support inspired work to being an industry role model in our efforts to support sustainability, as well as diversity and inclusion.”
