Meet Courtenay Pearson

Making meaningful connections through inspiring stories

Title: Field Sales Enablement Lead
Division: Hexagon's PPM division
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Joined in: 2017

Courtenay Pearson works for Hexagon’s PPM division based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she helps roll out new ways to connect and collaborate with customers. Pearson also has the opportunity in her position to be part of PPM’s Sales Enablement team, where she is able to work directly with the field to help empower sales teams to sell more effectively.

“What I love most about my role here at Hexagon is the creativity it encourages — there’s never a strict pathway to follow to achieve success,” Pearson said. “This allows for a lot of creative brainstorming and really encourages collaboration across the teams. Every day is different and comes with a new set of exciting challenges.”

“Here at Hexagon, we’re not afraid to push the boundaries. That's what I'm most proud of,” she added. “That's also a great thing about the people that work here — everyone is looking the same direction, and we’re always thinking about what we can do better. How we can help serve our customers better. What we can do to bring real insight and make a difference in our customers’ lives versus just selling a product.”

Here at Hexagon, we’re not afraid to push the boundaries. That's what I'm most proud of.

Being in a role that exposes her to a variety of people, across regions and business units, Pearson gets to meet and interface with new colleagues each day. “It’s like working with your best friends,” Pearson said. “I love the people that I work with. I meet new people every day, and it’s so interesting learning their story and what brought them to Hexagon.”

You may have heard of the saying, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”

Pearson, however, has a different outlook, “We had a great keynote speaker this year at our division’s Sales Kickoff who said — ‘If it ain’t broke, consider breaking it.’ Break it so that we can make something new, something even better. I’m so proud to work for a company that instills this into their culture.”
