Cradle CFDおけるキャビテーション解析機能の開発背景を紹介します。

流体解析ソフトウェアSCRYU/Tetraに搭載しているキャビテーション解析機能を用いると、設計段階における正確なキャビテーションの発生予測が可能です。非定常性の強い現象であるキャビテーションは、機器の性能低下や気泡が生じることによる騒音のみならず、物体表面に対してエロージョン(壊食)現象を引き起こすため、CFDを用いた非定常キャビテーション解析が重要となります。お客様とともにキャビテーション解析に取り組む 技術部 藤山に、機能開発背景を聞きました。
