Hexagon and Pulverjet bring agricultural solutions to Expodireto Cotrijal
30 January 2020
Florianópolis, Brazil (January 30, 2020) — Hexagon’s Agriculture division will join Pulverjet to showcase technology solutions developed for agriculture at the Expodireto Cotrijal in Não-Me-Toque, Brazil, from March 2-6, 2020. The international fair brings together the main segments of agribusiness, and more than 260,000 visitors will pass through more than 530 stands at the event for four days.
“Participating in major events such as Expodireto is a way to discuss the future of agriculture,” explained Bernardo de Castro, president of Hexagon's Agriculture division. “Hexagon is in tune with this future, offering the market the most modern technology. Our solutions connect the field, equipment and people, enabling a real paradigm shift in the sector."
HxGN AgrOn Machine Monitoring, an information management system for machinery and fleets for both agricultural and forestry operations, will be one of the highlights presented at Expodireto. The product records machine positioning and the activity being performed, providing detailed reports on performance indicators and machinery behaviour, such as productivity, area worked, distance travelled and speed.
AgrOn Machine Monitoring works together with AgrOn Control Room, connecting embedded technology that simultaneously monitors and controls the machines in the field. “The solution closes a cycle that integrates four important stages of agricultural activity —process planning, operations development, execution and performance to correct routes. The efficiencies gained ensure what every company seeks today — more competitiveness and profitability,” said Castro. Another product that will be exhibited at the fair will be the AgrOn Auto Steering, which assists navigation of tractors, machines and agricultural and forestry implements. It also guarantees alignment of routes with an accuracy of up to two centimetres, which can be planned directly from the office. This allows users to maximise field resources, significantly decrease soil compaction and increase production times.
