Hexagon acquires HTR Hydrauliikka

HEXAGON ACQUIRES HTR HYDRAULIIKKA WITHIN THE BUSINESS AREA AUTOMATION Effective as of November 15, 2001, Polarteknik PMC Oy Ab, a company within Hexagon Automation, has taken over the entire share capital of HTR Hydrauliikka Oy. The company was established in 1987. Employs 8 people and had a turnover of FIM 17 million (2,86 ME) for the year 2000. HTR Hydrauliikka's main products are hydraulic pumps, valves and motors as well as manufacturing of power units. The acquisition of HTR Hydrauliikka strengthens Polarteknik's position as the market leader in Finland. The acquisition will contribute to Hexagon's earnings as of the day of consolidation.
