Located in central Texas, Bell County is home to more than 320,000 citizens spread across 1,100 square miles. Within the county, there are 24 separate police agencies, two prosecutory agencies, and a centralized dispatch center – each with diverse investigation information and incident records needs.

To support the distinct record management needs of these agencies, Bell County, Texas, required an easy-to-maintain enterprise information system that offered robust data collection, sharing, and integration capabilities. Bell County’s law enforcement agencies also have a central data repository that allows them to share information with neighboring jurisdictions, integrate data from other critical systems, and lower their technical ownership costs.

Because Hexagon’s solution is a web-based application, Bell County has an RMS that is flexible enough to handle the growing information needs of the agencies it serves.
