Leica Geosystems and LiuGong Dressta Machinery announce a new Leica Ready kit for factory fitting
A new Leica Ready factory kit is available for the Dressta TD-15M and TD-16N dozers
(Heerbrugg, Switzerland, 9 March 2023) Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and LiuGong Dressta Machinery, a worldwide supplier of durable and powerful heavy construction equipment, today announced the release of a new Leica Ready factory kit for the TD-15M and TD-16N dozers.
Digitalisation transforms the way contractors move and grade dirt. Machine control technology helps to optimise costs and enables more efficient and sustainable operations. Customers increasingly demand machine control technology as a default option on their heavy equipment to reduce the need for manual stakeouts, optimise fuel usage and minimise the amount of materials and transportation required.
To simplify the machine control installation process for Dressta dozer customers, the two companies now offer the TD-15M and the award-winning TD-16N dozers pre-installed with the ready kit for Leica 2D and 3D machine control systems at the LiuGong Dressta Machinery factory in Stalowa Wola, Poland.
“This partnership allows us to provide customers with a ‘plug and play’ upgrade to 3D machine control for Dressta’s cutting-edge dozers as well as access to the expertise of both companies while guaranteeing an effortless purchasing experience," >says Rainer Bippen, OEM Director at Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon.
Plug & play: installation made easy
The factory kit includes all the components (main brackets, cables, junction box, radio modem, 4G antennas and sensors) required to ensure the dozer is ready to install the Leica MC1 grading solution directly upon machine delivery.
“By purchasing dozers with the machine control kit directly from the manufacturer, customers benefit from seamless delivery, simple installation and expanded support. The result is increased productivity and uptime and reduced daily operating expenses,”> says Bartosz Kozik >Sales Director >at >LiuGong Dressta Machinery.
