EcoSys Named Among Most Influential Construction Technology Providers by Constructech Magazine
8 July 2016
EcoSys, the industry standard for enterprise project controls software, today announced being included on the Constructech 50, a listing of the most influential construction technology software providers by Constructech Magazine.
Constructech’s editorial team selected EcoSys for the company’s ability to help the construction industry effectively manage increasingly large and complex capital projects.
“In a time when global infrastructure investment is expected to double over the next 15 years and billion-dollar plus megaprojects will account for a greater share of that investment than ever before, managing capital projects efficiently is critical,” said Javier Sloninsky, senior vice president and general manager of EcoSys. “We are dedicated to helping organizations manage capital projects – large and small alike – more efficiently. And we are honored to be recognized for this work by Constructech.”
EcoSys was founded in 2000by the original designers and developers of what is now known as Primavera P6, the enterprise scheduling software. Javier and co-founder, Christen Bergerud moved to develop the EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls) software platform because they saw a gap in the marketplace for an enterprise business application focused on project cost controls, performance management, and earned value – one that would bridge the gap between scheduling and accounting systems.
EcoSys has truly innovated the enterprise project controls space with EcoSys EPC. The integrated, scalable, and web-based software enables customers to standardize best practices across the enterprise and is enhanced with real-time analytics to address the construction industry’s growing need for powerful data automation and analysis tools.
EcoSys now also offers a Mobile App Platform, which integrates seamlessly with EcoSys EPC. By enabling easy access to real-time information wherever and whenever needed, the mobile apps encourage stakeholders outside of just the project team to leverage the project controls solution – whether it’s a contractor raising an issue to the project team, a construction supervisor reviewing and approving that day’s progress, a project controls analyst assessing the impact of a change, or an executive reviewing the status of their project portfolio while traveling. The mobile apps help organizations track project progress, flag and approve changes, and report issues from the field. Ultimately, by enabling greater collaboration and visibility, they help deliver stronger capital projects.
