Technische Universität Darmstadt used Romax software for modelling, simulation and efficiency analysis to optimise the development of novel engineering concepts, in particular new two-drive transmissions for extended range electric vehicles. As a result, they achieved fast and focused optimised development at an earlier stage, trusted efficiency maps, complex interdependent parameters and multi-objective optimisation, resulting in a successful new two-drive transmission design going to prototype.
