Remote Drilling Link extends the capabilities of Production Optimiser by enabling full remote use of the system on production drill rigs without requiring operator presence at the machine. By bridging secure IP-based communication between a remote tablet and the onboard OptiBox unit, it allows drilling optimisation to continue during shift changes and other transitional periods. This helps to eliminate idle rig time, improve consistency between operators and maintain production output without adding labour.
Designed for both surface and underground environments, the system operates over existing mine Wi-Fi infrastructure. Its OEM-agnostic architecture supports deployment across any compatible production drill brand running Production Optimiser version 5.8.1 or higher. Installation is rapid, typically completed in under five hours, with no rig modification required.
The rugged, vehicle-mounted gateway integrates cleanly into existing workflows and includes WPA2-secured communication, REST API integration and remote diagnostics capabilities.
