Furthering education through partnership
United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation
The Geospatial Intelligence community is concerned with escalating global tensions, changing nature of threats, capacity and budget concerns and national security needs.
United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) was formed to address a need for a unified vision and approach to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft. The Foundation brings together the many disciplines involved in the geospatial intelligence sector to exchange ideas and share best practices.
USGIF promotes the education and importance of a national geospatial intelligence agenda through accreditation programs and other initiatives.
USGIF-accredited schools can award GEOINT certificates to graduating students. A USGIF GEOINT Certificate ensures prospective employers that the graduate understands critical issues and has the skills to be immediately productive.
The provided software includes GeoMedia Motion Video Analyst Professional, a high-productivity environment for analysis of motion video captured by UAVs and other moving vehicles. Military and related agencies are using this software to fuse motion video and other forms of intelligence into a single operating picture.
