Diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division formally identified and expanded its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) focus in 2021, building on plans introduced in Hexagon’s sustainability strategy.
Diverse companies perform better. An inclusive environment fosters collaboration and innovation, ultimately improving the technology we develop and our solutions for customers.
DEI initiatives at our organisation are driven by a council structure that provides support and momentum from executives while also allowing every employee to take an active role.
The Divisional DEI Council, which is guided by top-level executives, defines strategy, champions initiatives and establishes and oversees our investment in DEI. One of the investments made was Women’s Leadership Forum that support global objectives, including Hexagon’s goal to achieve at least 30 percent women in leadership positions by 2025.
The establishment of Regional DEI Councils empowers employees to recognise areas of DEI focus and enact change on the local level.
