Considering the nature and scale of our operations, which include product design and development, operational and assembly processes, administrative activities, logistics, supply chain management, and field customer support, we recognize that our activities may generate environmental impacts mainly associated with the consumption of energy, water and fuels, the use of chemical products, the generation of waste and effluents, transportation, and materials management. These impacts are evaluated throughout the life cycle of our products, including maintenance activities and proper end-of-life disposal.
We also recognize potential environmental risks related to accidental spills, emergencies, and exposure to extreme weather events. In this context, we consider it essential to strengthen environmental management within the supply chain, as well as to promote environmental training and awareness among employees, suppliers, and partners, contributing to the prevention of environmental impacts and to the continuous improvement of our environmental performance.
