Typically coordinate measurement is at its limits when inspecting parts which require multiple probe changes such as very small and complex internal gearing. Such parts as well as crankshafts, camshafts, screw compressors, turbine disks and blisks, can be measured quite straightforwardly and with confidence by using a rotary table.
Several models of Leitz rotary tables are available dependent on your needs:
- Leitz oRT 2, 4 and 6 - On Top version with a diameter of 200 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm
- Leitz iRT 2, 4 and 6 - Integrated into the Leitz PMM-C, Leitz Reference HP/Xi, Leitz PMM-F work table, no reduction in the Z measuring range.

- Workpiece can be accessed from all four sides
- Prismatic and rotationally symmetric parts may be checked with fewer probe changes increasing throughput
- The rotary table can be infinitely positioned, which allows workpieces to be measured at any desired angle
- The decoupled drive does not introduce thermal energy and therefore guarantees the highest accuracy
- Pallet measurement can be done with or without rotary table
- Four-axis scanning is supported with the rotary table, allowing continuous high-density data collection on features
