It was a triumph for Hexagon at the 2019 ISA Energy and Water Automation Conference (EWAC), which was held between the 6th and the 8th of August 2019 in Orlando, Florida. The “Implementing E-Logging at Thames Water Utilities” white paper was nominated and elected by peers to receive the “2nd Best Paper Award.”

David Dollar and Jeremy Westwood from Hexagon wrote the white paper with Anthony Tyler from Thames Water Utilities for the 2018 ISA Water / Wastewater and Automatic Controls Symposium. The paper highlights the operations management gains made by Thames Water Utilities, the UK’s largest water company. The company currently uses the j5 Operations Logbook, j5 Shift Handover, j5 Work Instructions, j5 Standing Orders and j5 IndustraForm® Templates at its Kemble Court Operations Management Centre. Through digitalization with j5 Operations Management Solutions, it now achieves greater visibility, retrieval and auditability of Water Control information.
