Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 to solidny, o konstrukcji typu "wszystko-w-jednym" (All-in-one) przenośny tracker laserowy, który mieści się w jednym pojemniku transportowym. Oferując w standardzie bardzo dynamiczne pomiary, tracker AT 960 stanowi kompletne rozwiązanie 6DoF (o sześciu stopniach swobody) służące do sondowania, skanowania, zautomatyzowanej kontroli i pomiarów reflektorowych.

AT960 łączy funkcjonalność 6DoF trackera Leica Absolute Tracker AT901 z użytecznością  i mobilnością kompaktowego trackera Leica Absolute Tracker AT403, tworząc nową generację systemów współrzędnościowych maszyn pomiarowych opartych na wypróbowanej technologii. W wyniku tego połączenia powstało wysoce zaawansowane, jeszcze prostsze w użyciu urządzenie pomiarowe, którego waga nie przekracza 14 kg.

Tracker AT 960 można łatwo przetransportować, szybko rozpakować, uruchomić zaledwie w kilka minut i rozpocząć bardzo szybkie  pomiary niemal w każdym miejscu. Funkcje dynamiczne i funkcjonalność urządzenia gwarantują użytkownikom absolutną mobilność, absolutną szybkość i absolutną dokładność.

Dzięki opartej na zintegrowanej technologii konstrukcji AT960 z komunikacją bezprzewodową i opcjonalnym zasilaniem bateriami, czasochłonne ustawianie to już przeszłość. Interferometr Absolutny Leica (AIFM) umożliwia dokładne, bardzo szybkie pomiary ruchomego celu, a innowacyjna funkcja PowerLock zapewnia natychmiastowe uchwycenie utraconej wiązki lasera bez interwencji użytkownika, zmniejszając nakład pracy operatora i redukując wymagania dotyczące jego szkolenia. Intuicyjna obsługa przez ekran dotykowy minimalizuje potencjalne błędy użytkownika, oszczędzając czas, wysiłek i pieniądze. Architektura kontroli i kompensacji oznacza, że podstawowe czynności regulacyjne mogą zostać przeprowadzone w miejscu pomiarów. Solidna konstrukcja gwarantuje pracę zgodnie ze specyfikacją techniczną  oraz kalibracją i serwisowaniem ograniczonymi do minimum.

W połączeniu z Real-Time Feature Pack i Leica T-Mac, AT960 stanowi rozwiązanie, który spełnia wymagania dotyczące dostarczania deterministycznych danych pomiarowych zaawansowanych zautomatyzowanych instalacji. Stworzony w oparciu o wypróbowany w przemyśle protokół sieciowy EtherCAT dostarcza dane pomiarowe  6DoF z częstotliwością do 1000 Hz wraz z dokładnymi znacznikami czasu. Dane pomiarowe nazywane danymi 7DoF  umożliwiają sterowanie i kontrolę maszyny w czasie rzeczywistym, nawet w przypadku bardzo dynamicznych konfiguracjach robotycznych.

Z przestrzenią pomiarową do 160 metrów tracker AT960 współdziała z sondą Leica T-Probe,sondą do automatyzacji Leica T-Mac, skanerem Leica T-Scan 5 oraz skanerem Leica Absolute Scanner (LAS). Dzięki tej elastyczności tracker może przeprowadzić wiele różnorodnych zadań pomiarowych - od kontroli w laboratorium jakości po kontrolę na linii produkcyjnej, w fabryce lub bezpośrednio w miejscu pracy - oferując użytkownikom właściwe narzędzie do realizacji każdego wyzwania metrologicznego.
