Green Cubes: A digital revolution for rainforest conservation

Green Cubes is powered by Hexagon's digital reality platform (HxDR) to recreate the world's rainforests in 3D and protect critical ecosystems.

R-evolution partnered with La Gamba Tropenstation in 2024 to use airborne hybrid image and LiDAR sensors and ground-based reality capture technology to generate a digital twin of 100 square kilometres of rainforest or 125 million Green Cubes, in Costa Rica.
