Hexagon’s Rate Control kit smart regulates and automates input application rates, providing real-time area coverage display. It offers simple calibration and operation, highly flexible control, and fast, precise automatic tuning. The system supports the import of prescription maps (.shp) and manages up to three actuators for input application.

- Disc rotation control manages the distribution of the inputs through
broadcast spreading. This feature allows quick and easy configuration of the desired rotation, as well as ensures the speed reference is achieved and monitored. - Auto Tuning of rate controllers involves the implementation of numerical techniques for automatic tuning of PID controllers, applied to fertiliser machines. The feature calculates the proportional and integral gain parameters, minimum and maximum RPM, dead zone, and saturation, making the fertiliser application process more agile and efficient.
