HCCI extends its social responsibility program to the critical field of education. We seek out top university partners to provide required training in courses that prepare students to work in industry. We do this by reaching out to campuses through our program called, ‘Campus Champions’. In the past, we have partnered with the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, to set up a Next- Gen PPM Lab, with the Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, to set up an Advanced Analysis Lab, and with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, to set up a GNSS lab. HCCI’s technical experts can help with almost any topic, including but not limited to, lab infrastructure, hardware and software licensing, curriculum design, and professional training for professors, this is aided by HCCI’s technical experts. The labs are available to students across all departments at the said stated campuses.
Women’s Empowerment
Acting towards the cause, HCCI has funded a project for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls in Boddu Chinthalapally village, in Warangal district of Telangana State. This village is situated about 150 km from Hyderabad, and with the help of these funds, the project created a resource center with a library, English classes and a computer lab offering basic skills. A coordinator at the resource center helps empower women to stand up for their rights, improve hygiene, build leadership skills and voice their opinions against outdated customs such as child marriage.
