Hexagon’s journey to net-zero emissions

Hexagon’s journey to net-zero emissions

Hexagon has joined the Business Ambition for 1.5°C; committed to set net-zero science-based targets for carbon emissions.

To further our sustainability agenda, we have publicly committed to set targets for our carbon emissions in line with the Net-Zero Standard and to have our targets validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This commitment strengthens our previously communicated carbon reduction targets to become carbon neutral in Scope 1 and 2 by 2030, and carbon neutral in Scope 3 by 2050. By joining the Business Ambition for 1.5°C, we will validate our targets against science-based criteria and present a concrete action plan and roadmap with milestones in our journey towards net-zero.

The SBTi is a partnership between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Over 2,000 organizations worldwide are leading the transition to a net-zero economy by setting emissions reduction targets grounded in climate science through the SBTi.
