Objective

In our special seminar you will learn the basics of material-specific process parameters as far as they are relevant for your forming simulation. The seminar focuses on the importance and use of flow curves. You will also receive an overview of heat treatment and microstructure simulation.

• Different modeling options of the flow curve for the simulation
• Other material parameters (mechanical, thermal)
• Basics of the simulation of phase transitions
• Basics of the simulation of recrystallization and grain growth

Prerequisites

We recommend that you have knowledge of the training content of the basic seminar and one of the advanced seminars (sheet metal, cold or hot forging). You should also have extensive practical knowledge of process simulation.
