Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of how material testing and finite element analysis are combined to improve the design of rubber and elastomeric products.

Prerequisites

A basic knowledge of statics and strength of materials is highly recommended. Previous finite element analysis experience is recommended. Knowledge of elastomeric materials.
