These ultra-high accuracy machines are available with optional sophisticated temperature compensation features including the XT option extended temperature range of 15 °C to 35 °C, complete with protective bellow covers, and the PULSE environmental monitoring system, offering the ability to operate the machine outside a temperature-controlled environment.
Leitz Reference Xi CMMs offer unparalleled flexibility with a wide range of probe head options from the HP-S-X1 coupled with the HH-A-T2.5 or HH-A-T5 continuous wrist, to the HP-S-X3C fixed measurement head, up to the HP-S-X5-HD designed for use with extra-long stylus extensions or heavy styli clusters.
The accuracy is there in every situation – whether measuring with indexing or fixed probe heads. With a multi-sensor controller, the Leitz Reference Xi series is also well equipped for the integration of optical sensors.

The Future Ready concept optimises the CMM for the SENMATION intelligent sensor automation system upgrade. The universal pre-cabling enables a simple integration process at any time, allowing for flexible application changes without costly downtime.
A moving bridge with triangular profile provides optimum stiff-to-mass ratio for unquestioned precision and long-term stability.
Status Messaging Lights
The Status Message Light kit integrates LED alert lights into the CMM so you can check machine status at a glance, even at a distance. This means the CMM can be left to measure, allowing you to optimise time and resource management.
High Resolution Steel Scales
High-quality steel scales and automatic temperature compensation reduce the effect of temperature fluctuations on the measurement process.
As an integrated or on-top version, rotary tables up to a diameter of 600 mm and a maximum table load of 550 kg can be used for 4-axis scanning and component positioning.
An optional exchangeable temperature sensor for the LSP-S2 Scan+ and the HP-S-X5 HD enables automatic part-temperature measurement at the workpiece (integrated in the measurement program).
The XT option enables accurate and reliable measurement in the expanded temperature range of 15 °C to 35 °C on selected Leitz Reference Xi machine models, which is indispensable in environments where temperature conditions are not controlled.
