OUR STORY
When New Zealand Police set out to improve its department, leaders analysed how the department operates and created a system to help accomplish the goal of not just being good at apprehending criminals, but actually preventing crime. New Zealand Police turned to Intergraph’s mobile application, Mobile Responder, which extends Intergraph’s computer-aided dispatch into the field. The department has deployed more than 10,000 devices featuring Mobile Responder to 6,500 frontline police officers. It estimates the mobility programme will increase productivity by 30 minutes per shift, which saves 520,000 hours each year and effectively deploys 345 more police on the streets.
