Shaping smart change by strengthening customer relationships
Most of Tipawan (Tippy) Gallo’s work days are spent at her desk in Huntsville, Alabama, yet she travels the world daily.
In her customer relationship management role at Hexagon, Tippy supports customers and colleagues across the globe. It’s a task she has perfected in her five years with the company.
“I’m very people-oriented and approachable, so this has been a good fit,” says Tippy.
For Tippy, part of the career and personal growth process has been to stretch and take on new responsibilities.
“I continue to be given new challenges, and that’s really broadened my understanding of computer development and what it is Hexagon does.”
As a nature lover, she appreciates that Hexagon’s data-centric software solutions help shipyards, manufacturers and process facilities work more efficiently, which saves resources.
She’s also an aficionado of hand lettering – “I love the process of handwriting” – and has taught calligraphy classes at a coffee shop owned by a Hexagon colleague.
“We’re like family here,” she says. “This is a very supportive environment.”
