Redefining the value chain from mine to market

Ernesto Vivas is one of Hexagon’s resident road warriors. Ernesto visits customers in some of the most remote parts of the planet, helping to improve their mine planning workflows.
In 2015, Ernesto was in the Arctic, visiting Baffin Island to provide training at the Mary River Mine, the northernmost open-pit mine in the world. In recent years, he has helped customers from New Caledonia in the South Pacific to Red Dog, Alaska, with Mongolia, Thailand, Japan and much of South America in between.
The possibilities for integration between our planning, operations and safety technologies are endless.
Helping mines get the most from MineSight is rewarding, but "the possibilities for integration between our planning, operations and safety technologies are endless," Vivas said. Hexagon is delivering new, smart, connected products that are redefining the whole value chain from mine to market.
It’s hard to get more remote than the Arctic, but for this seasoned road warrior and Hexagon employee, new horizons are always ahead.
